Apple postpones release of iPhone 12 due to Corona Virus

Apple confirmed on Friday that the release date of the iPhone 12 will be postponed until October, after the closure of several countries to prevent Kovid 19 disease, which disrupted the global supply chain.
The announcement means the new product line will miss the tech giant's September launch.
Confirmation of the delay follows rumors circulated by tech hacker John Bruce earlier this week that the new iPhone and iPad will be unveiled in October.
The postponement of the iPhone 12 was announced during a phone conversation about Apple's latest earnings, in which the company announced positive news for the third quarter of this year.
As a result of the 19 cases of Kovid, which severely disrupted the supply chain, sales of the iPhone rose 2 percent from a year earlier, which Apple said was driven by an increase in purchases of the 2020 iPhone SE.
The company also confirmed that sales of the iPad and Mac have also doubled, despite the impact on Kovid.
"We are confident that we will have a strong buying season back," Apple CEO Tim Cook said by telephone.
